Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year! We are looking forward to another eventful and productive year for students, staff, and parents.
Leesburg Elementary School is one of seven elementary schools in the district known as Warsaw Community Schools. With more than 550 students, it is the one of the largest schools.
The school's policies and procedures have been developed to promote a positive environment for learning. If you have any questions regarding any of our policies, please contact the school office.
Our dedicated staff is committed to providing the best possible education to our students. However, success in school depends on the cooperation of staff, parents, and students. With this in mind, we ask for your assistance and support, and we invite your suggestions and ideas. If for some reason you feel something is interfering with your child's progress, please arrange a conference with the teacher.
One thing you can do to help your child be successful at school is to find the time to read to him or her. The time you spend with your child(ren) is one of the greatest gifts you can give.

.It's hard to believe that May will be the last full month of school for this school year. I hope your children have had an enjoyable school year and that you have noticed the academic growth that they have made. Please note that the last day of school will be on Wednesday, May 30th. Parents, thank you for your continued commitment and support of Leesburg Elementary School.
Drama Club - We would like to invite you to our drama clubs play on Tuesday, May 22nd at 2:30 p.m. Those students have worked very hard and shown much improvement throughout the school year. The Aladdin play will be in the gym.
Summer School - If you are interested in having your children participate in Summer School, enrollment is taking place now! Warsaw Community Schools is offering Summer School for this year's current 1st-6th grade students. Summer School begins on Wednesday, June 6th and will be in session until Thursday, June 28th. Please call the school office if you have any questions regarding Summer School.
Registration - School registration for the 2012-2013 school year will look very different than it has in years past. All registration can be done on-line. The registration time for the upcoming school year will run from Monday, May 7th - Thursday, June 7th. If you do not have a computer with on-line access, Leesburg Elementary is opening our doors on Tuesday evenings from May 8th - June 5th from 4:15-6:30 p.m. During this time, Leesburg's main computer lab will be open. We will have our Technology Support Specialist on hand to help you through the process. Again, this will be replacing the registratin that normally takes place in early August. Please contact the school office if you have any questions.
Leesburg PTO - Thank you for the wonderful turnout for our annual spring carnival.l It seemed like the students had an enjoyable evening. Thank you to all the people who helped make this year's carnival a success! :) Your continual support is appreciated. Thank you for making this school year a successful one. Have a great summer! Leesburg Elementary would like to thank our PTO officers: Abby Garner (PTO President), JoAnne Williams (Vice-President), Anita Johnson (Treasurer), and Kari Brown (Secretary) for their efforts!
